“The World’s Best Homes”
The 300th issue of Casa BRUTUS features beautiful classic homes. Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye, Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, and Mies van der Rohe's Farnsworth House. All three of the masterpieces of modern architecture were homes. They are now open to the public and are visited by many people as famous spots for modernist architecture. Meanwhile, in Japan, attention is being paid to the preservation of classic homes, including the Tsuchiura House. The innovative attempt at housing that began about 100 years ago remains a textbook on beautiful homes, both architecturally and interiorly, and should be considered the original source. Here is a list of 100 classic homes that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime!
