Mina Perhonen即芬蘭語minä=我+perhonen=蝴蝶，這是皆川明與北歐生活方式和文化產生共感而命名的一個著名故事。自1986年冬天19歲第一次到訪以來，皆川明幾乎每年都會去北歐旅行。當他花時間像樹的年輪一樣思考北歐生活和設計時，他會欣賞敬愛的設計師名作，包括Alvar Aalto、Hans J. Wegner、Kaj Franck及Poul Kjærholm，並產生共鳴。然後，2024年初夏，《Casa BRUTUS》將陪伴皆川明踏上北歐之旅。這是一本北歐建築設計指南，追隨設計大師的步伐，介紹他們自己的系列，並從皆川明的視點闡釋他們的吸引力！
“Akira Minagawa Travels Nodic Design”
Mina Perhonen is the Finnish word minä = me+perhonen = butterfly, and it is a famous story that Akira Minagawa named it because he empathized with the Nordic lifestyle and culture. Since his first visit in the winter of 1986 at the age of 19, Minagawa has traveled to Northern Europe almost every year. As he spends time thinking about Scandinavian life and design like the rings of a tree, he looks at the masterpieces of designers he admires, such as Alvar Aalto, Hans J. Wegner, Kaj Franck, Poul Kjærholm, and resonate with them. He’s been doing it. Then, in the early summer of 2024, Casa BRUTUS will accompany Minagawa on his trip to Northern Europe. This is a guide to Scandinavian architectural design that follows in the footsteps of master designers, introduces their own collections, and explains their appeal from Akira Minagawa's perspective!
